Smithsonian Folkways is a finalist in the American Association of Independent Music Awards for Woody at 100: The Woody Guthrie Centennial Collection, designed by Fritz Klaetke, in the category “Most Creative Packaging or Bundled Product.” Woody at 100 recently received a GRAMMY award for “Best Boxed or Special Edition Packaging,” and received another nomination for “Best Historical Album.” The award ceremony for the “LIBBY” awards, hosted by the American Association of Independent Music (A2IM), will be June 20 in New York City and will “honor growing support and market share for independent artists and record labels.” For more information please visit the American Association of Independent Music.
