Smithsonian Folkways is excited to receive the Washington Area Music Association (Wammie) Award for Best Washington Area Record Company. Washington, D.C. is home to a vast variety of record labels, providing us with an enriching and vibrant music community, and we feel honored to have been nominated alongside such talented organizations.
