Blues de Musicien

The Louisiana-based Pine Leaf Boys was one of the youngest bands ever recorded by Arhoolie Records. Although their sound is fresh and energetic, their music is decidedly traditional Creole and Cajun in origin. Led by multi-instrumentalist and singer Wilson Savoy, the quintet presents traditional and original music with the emphasis on dancing music. This was their second recording for Arhoolie.
