Meria festival dance (Dance at the Red gram harvest festival)
This is part of the dancing at the Meria festival performed at the thime of harvesting of the red gram. The sole male dancer dances in the centre with a pole which symbolises the god called juju, who is responsible for a good red gram harvest. The musical accompanists are similar to Saora music and dance, with drums and the tiriduy flute.
