Ireland: The Final Struggle

This is the second of three albums recorded by the Men of No Property for Paredon Records. The songs featured in this collection tell of different events in the Irish people’s struggle for their independence and the conflicts that ensued post-independence during the 30-year period known as “The Troubles” (c. 1968–1998). The recording includes traditional songs and original ones written by members of the group. The liner notes provide background information about the group and their political efforts, along with notes on the songs with full lyrics and a brief history of the Irish Republican Army (IRA).
