Ngalanga dance: Chipinga movement
Group of men and women of Cabo Gulula, Regulo Chilundo
Younger people sing and dance the chipinga movement of the ngalanga on happy occasions, especially as an informal dance in the evenings. Unlike the ngodo (a man's dance), it is danced by members of either sex, especially those too young to participate in the ngodo. A few musicians, usually from three to five, play, and they add two drums for this dance.
