"Chidkiye Chug Chhayo" is a bhajan (devotional song) to Krishna, asking him to wake up; morning has broken, the birds are chirping, his friends are calling, his girl friends want to speak to him. The song entreats Krishna to wake up and speak. It is also a wedding song sung to the bridegroom the morning after the wedding, asking him to wake up. The song is sung in Rag Birbhas.
