Nyele/Horns
This experimental recording of Valley Tonga antelope horns (nyele) demonstrates their tuning, order of appearance, and general melodic scheme. They are commonly played with drums and not by themselves alone, and are employed for funerals, large gatherings, and other ceremonal occasions. They vary in size from about 5 inches (13 cm) to 18 inches (46 cm) long.
