The banna is a genre of wedding songs, addressed to or describing the bridegroon sung at different times during the wedding festivities. This Banna is played on the narh flute using both 'gur' (vocalizing while playing) as well as a technique of blowing known as 'khali phoonk', without the 'gur' .
