This hymn, sung by members of Mission to Many Lands, a Christian mission at the Nchanga mine in Chingola, Zambia, is based on a Bible verse: "Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil" (Ecclesiastes 5:1). A separatist African Christian sect, this mission has its own hymns, and this is hymn 51.
