Folkways is looking for someone well versed in hip-hop and rap to help out for an upcoming campaign! This part-time contractor will work for a 3-month period to develop marketing materials and assist with communications for an upcoming release. We'd love to see some excellent written and verbal communication skills, exemplary organizational skills, and experience working within the hip-hop music industry or related genres. Knowledge of and familiarity with major social media platforms, graphic design skills, and proficiency using Adobe and Microsoft Office products preferred!

Duties include:

• Manage communications between different departments and project stakeholders.
• Design and manage the creation/dissemination of visual assets and written copy for social media, newsletter, and Folkways website.
• General support on the project on an as-needed basis
