Noenoelani Zuttermeister Lewis (b. 1945), of Kane'ohe, O'ahu, is a descendant of the hula pahu tradition of Samuel Pua Ha'aheo (1886-1953). Here she performs mele komo (welcome to the dance area) in the oli style, which is text recited without instrumental accompaniment or dance.
