Ragtime Piano Revival

Long after its initial popularity in the 78rpm format, ragtime reappeared in the 1940s and 1950s when, encouraged by the introduction of the 45rpm disc and the LP, piano players and composers returned once more to this lively musical form. This album was the first to reissue the rags that had first appeared on 45rpm.
