Rail Dynamics

Rail enthusiasts won't want to pass up this chance to sample sounds from mid-century steam locomotives, diesel trains, night trains and the train yard. Emory Cook recorded these train sounds on rainy nights along the tracks of the New York Central as part of his experiments with high fidelity audio.
