Bill McAdoo Sings with Guitar
Bill McAdoo and Pete Seeger

Recorded when he was 23, this album features traditional and original songs that deal with love, loss and, most strikingly, the American civil rights movement. McAdoo wrote "I'm Going to Walk and Talk For my Freedom" in honor of anti-segregation demonstrators, and "I Don't Want No Jim Crow Coffee" in response to the Woolworth lunch counter sit-in in Greensboro, North Carolina in 1960.
