Ranmale is an open-air folk theater performance based on the Ramayana. Stories from the Ramayana are narrated through songs accompanied by the ghummat, small gongs and drums. In this episode as Ravan escapes with the captive Sita, he is accosted by Garud, the mythical King of birds. Ram and Lakshman return to discover Sita missing. They meet Hanuman who vows to help them find her.
