An excerpt from the story of Rajahamsa Parahamsa - a humorous song about the misfortune of a man with two wives. The performance usually consists of four males who form a small ensemble. The kathe - stories, are interspersed with songs which are relevant to the story. The jogi katha performers are called kinnari jogis taking their name from the stick zither kinnari. A musical interlude in the performance of the story of Rajahamsa Parahamsa, this is a kirtan composed by Purandaradasa a Kannada saint poet of the 16th century that says " why do you have worries and illusions in your mind?"
