Āsā is a Sindhi rāg. Karim Khan has merged the melodies of two compositions—"Tamaso manava more lag rahi, jago mohan pyara," which is a Krishna bhajan asking him to wake up, with a Sindhi qalam, “Jahān dekhā jahā to hi tu”—“Wherever I look in this world, I see only you."
