Windows for Youth: Guidance Through Literature

Using examples from English and American writers, educator Morris Schreiber presents selections from various works chosen to appeal to the imaginations of junior high school students. Schreiber and fellow University Players cast members Kenneth Buckridge, Wallace House, and Herb McFarland read excerpts from notable writers and poets including Nathaniel Hawthorne, Stephen Crane, William Shakespeare, and Mark Twain, as well as from aviator Charles Lindbergh’s autobiography. The complete script is included in the liner notes, followed by questions and suggestions about the material for listeners and readers.
