Music of the Asian Courts takes students on a journey through Asia’s court music traditions. These learning experiences present a broad scope of classical traditions beyond the typical Western European setting. Lessons provide interdisciplinary activities in art, science, language, history, geography, math, dance, and drama. Travel through Asia learning about traditional instruments and how they're played, who played them, and for whom. Listen to sounds that accompanied rituals and ceremonies.
