American composer, pianist, and music professor Frank Glazer passed away on January 13, 2015 at the age of 99. Glazer recorded the 1952 album Paganini Variations for Cook Records, now part of the Smithsonian Folkways collection. He continued to perform until shortly before his death and was scheduled to give a series of concerts during his centennial year.
