This 1977 recording showcases the talents of guitarist Pat Webb (1931–2013). Born in Springfield, Missouri, Webb began his music career playing guitar alongside various musicians including piano player Blind Tommy Hunt and touring with country western group The Westernaires. Ten of the 12 songs in this collection were written by Webb, who also performs the standard “Sitting on Top of the World” and the traditional hymn and closing track “When the Saints Go Marching In.” A short biography of the artist is included on the back cover.
