Salmini Salmini
Salmini Salmini is from the East African repertoire of the Sidis and has many references to East Africa both in local references and in music and language. It has some Swahili words only used among small coastal communities around Mombasa today. Much of the meaning has been lost and the performers have none or little idea of what they mean. " We greet you, receive our greetings, we greet the Great Spirit."
