Marcelo Rojas and Miguel Prado Perform a Harp Duet [Live at Smithsonian Folklife Festival 2009]
Representing two very different harp styles, Marcelo Rojas of Paraguay and Miguel Prado (from the group Arpex) fuse their talents to perform this unique duet, marking the first time they've ever played together. This video captures two pieces: "Son de la negra" (Mexico) and "El pajaro chogui" (Paraguay). Rojas and Prado are featured performers at the 2009 Smithsonian Folklife Festival on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., as part of the Las Américas program.
