Armenian folk music is played on a variety of stringed instruments ranging from gamancha, kanun, tar, and oud to the duduk, a double reed wind instrument that is Armenia’s national instrument. The performers of vocal and instrumental in this collection include the Armenian State Chorus, the Armenian Song and Dance Ensemble, and the Armenian Radio Orchestra of Folk Instruments.
