Invitation to Belly Dance

The music and performance of belly dance is common throughout the Eastern Mediterranean, Asia Minor, the Middle East and North Africa. It can take many different forms, both in costume and form, depending on the country or region where it is performed. In this collection of belly dance melodies, Lebanese native Emad Sayyah and his orchestra perform 14 of his original instrumentals and vocals. An LP version (MON00825) with 10 recording tracks was also released on the Monitor label.
