Songs of Nature and the Environment
Gerry Axelrod and Robert Macklin

In 1978, Gerry Axelrod and Bob Macklin were naturalists at the West Rock Nature Center in New Haven, Connecticut, who used poetry and music as a means to engage audiences about the natural world. The popularity of their songs, especially with children, resulted in invitations to speak and sing at workshops and seminars throughout the Northeast. This recording is a collection of some of the songs that they performed at these events. The song lyrics are printed in the liner notes.
