The Secret Life of Jerry Rasmussen

Originally released by Folk-Legacy in 1985, this is the second album of folksinger and songwriter Jerry Rasmussen. A Wisconsinite from Janesville, Rasmussen's songwriting often draws from the experiences he had coming of age in a small Midwest town. Such songs are the bulk of this record, creating an intimate, slice-of-life feeling, that draws the listener into its world. Driven by Rasmussen's warm singing and skillful guitar playing, he is also joined with vocal harmonies, banjo, and fiddle.
