Song For An August Moon

Kaplan's second release originally on the Folk-Legacy label, it was dedicated to the memory of Folk-Legacy co-founder Sandy Paton, and includes the tribute "Echo on the Mountain". Song for an August Moon is another collection of original songs from the New England folksinger and songwriter, who accompanies himself on guitar and banjo. Like his first release, these songs center around his relationship to the Northeast, telling stories of sailing, history, and the longing for home.
