Armenian Songs

Liz Sarian is a French-Armenian singer who made her first recordings in the 1960s and remains an active entertainer in the early 21st century. Although many of her recordings are in French, she sings this collection of songs in Armenian and is accompanied by a small orchestra and piano or accordion. The songs waver between melodic minor and major modes, registering as bittersweet and folkloric. There is no other recording information currently available for this recording.
