Reading Comprehension

Reading Comprehension

Reading Comprehension is an instructional album on how to improve understanding of written texts. Instructor Morris Schreiber guides the listener through different techniques, including using context clues to learn unfamiliar vocabulary words and finding the main idea in a passage. This album is one of a series of instructional albums Schreiber released on Folkways in the 1960s and '70s on reading, writing, and literature. Schreiber's discourse is transcribed in the liner notes.
