Hear Us Out! Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, Pacific Islanders, and Their Music (9th–12th)

Welcome to Hear Us Out! Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, Pacific Islanders and Their Music, a new Music Pathway from Smithsonian Folkways Recordings. Designed for students from 9th–12th grade, we hope the lessons in this pathway will be useful for courses in music, history, language arts and social studies. Please customize them to meet your needs!

This Pathway received Federal support from the Asian Pacific American Initiatives Pool, administered by the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center. It also received in-kind, collaborative support from the Society for Ethnomusicology and the National Association for Music Education.
