On The Trail
Various Artists

On the Trail is a survey of the Western Jubilee Recording Company, a “real-deal” cowboy music and poetry label from Colorado Springs. It includes songs from the first twelve releases on the label, including work from Don Edwards, Sons of the San Joaquin, and Norman Blake, as well as a bonus track from the Western/Celtic fusion group Cowboy Celtic. The album is dedicated to Western film star Richard Farnsworth, an admirer of the label.
