The Man of Songs
A renowned singer of Irish traditional music, Paddy Tunney was an active participant in the Irish and British folk revival scenes of the 1950's and 60's. There, he worked alongside the likes of Ewan MacColl, Hamish Henderson, and Peter Kennedy. On The Man of Songs (also a nickname he was affectionately given), he sings unaccompanied ballads in both English and Irish.
