Live! at the Dance

Composed of husband Marc on accordion and vocals, wife Ann on guitar and vocals, with NEA National Heritage Fellow Michael Doucet on violin and vocals, the Savoy-Doucet Cajun Band focuses on the preservation and presentation of traditional Cajun music. In this outing, the band is recorded in dancehall settings in Berkeley, CA, Pittsburgh, PA, and Alexandria, VA, playing Cajun waltz and two-step dances. The liner notes are written by Ann and include both Cajun French and English translations of song lyrics.
