Horses, Cattle & Coyotes
Sons of the San Joaquin

Sons of the San Joaquin’s second release for the Western Jubilee Recording Company, Horses, Cattle and Coyotes, is named for what the cowboy family band see as the three unchanging icons of the West. Unofficially dedicated to these eternal archetypes—and officially dedicated to “King of the Cowboys” Roy Rogers—Horses, Cattle and Coyotes looks to capture the spirit of Western life and what front man Jack Hannah calls “the unwritten ‘Code of the West’.” In its rich instrumentation and lush three-part harmonies, Horses... is an immersive, transporting effort, endlessly evocative of the legendary world of the mythic cowboy.
