Toronto-based musicians Bob Arbuckle, Verner Mikkelson, and N. Roy Clifton collaborate on this collection of traditional British and Irish couple dances. Arbuckle (fiddle) and Mikkelson (accordion) accompany Clifton on piano. Clifton also provides the dance calls. Highlights include up-tempo dances such as “The Roberts” and “The Varsouvianna.” Liner notes from this 1961 recording provide a track listing along with background information on the musicians and instructions for each of the dances.
