Turning Toward the Morning
Gordon Bok, Ann Mayo Muir, Ed Trickett
Turning Toward the Morning was the first release to feature the folk-trio of Gordon Bok, Ann Muir, and Ed Trickett, three of the most prolific artists originally on the Folk-Legacy label. Presented here is a collection of mostly British and American traditional songs, with two originals by Bok. Together, the trio play guitar, hammer dulcimer, and two instruments invented by the group - Bok's "Bokwhistle", and Muirs "Bell", a small, bell-shaped twelve string guitar.
