Wilde's The Happy Prince and the Devoted Friend

Accomplished musical and stage actress Claire Luce (not to be confused with Clare Boothe Luce) narrates two of Oscar Wilde’s short stories. In “The Happy Prince,” Wilde tells a story of great friendship and generosity. In “The Devoted Friend,” he tells one of greed and hypocrisy. Through alternate tales of ennoblement and cynicism, Wilde’s children’s stories ask the listener the question about which is truer to the world.
