Songs range in topic from the Devil’s attempt to entice the archangels to join him in Hell (David Massengill, “Down Derry Down”), an ode to restaurant staff in a fast-food world (the Luna Tune, “The Chicken and Burger World Blues”), the joys of “Vacation” by Bill Bachmann and the Song Project, living life on one’s terms by veteran folksinger Rosalie Sorrels (“Mama”), and a song or two about love (“Love You ‘til the Cows Come Home” by Josie Kuhn and “Think and Do” by street poet Poez).
