One Man Band

Paul Blackman
One Man Band Riffin' John Blackman was a street musician from Louisiana who moved to New York, and at the time this recording was made, he performed on one of the ferries that connect Manhattan to the New Jersey shore. His homemade drums and tuneful kazoo recreate jazz songs with a distinct Dixieland sound.
