Rather than limiting his repertoire to the old time tunes and traditional folk songs that typically fill a mountain dulcimer player's repertoire, Kevin Roth also plays fiddle tunes and recently composed ballads, including Jean Ritchie's "The L & N Don't Stop Here Any More" and his own "Bold Pirate."
