Greetings from Holland
Mieke and Nina

The country of Holland, officially known as the Netherlands (“lower countries”), is famous as a land of tulips, dikes, wooden shoes, and windmills. It is also a land of song. Singer Mieke Duberta is joined by Mina Dunkel on harp for the presentation of 14 songs reflective of her Dutch heritage. The songs range from a medley of children’s songs (“Kinder Potpourri”) to songs celebrating the Netherland’s rich history (“De Zilveren Vloot”). Liner notes include a brief description of each song.
