The Manganiar are among the most sophisticated musicians of Western Rajasthan. These songs, though not recorded in context, were recorded in Rajasthan as part of the ARCE Atlas project. They provide a cross section of the Manganiar repertoire. The Rag names are those provided by Manganiar musicians and are not necessarily linked to the classical Hindustani system of rags.
