Recorded December 19, 1976, at the Sanctuary Church of the Open Door in Philadelphia, PA, this album reflects joy, excitement, and spiritual preparation for the Christmas season. The church was co-founded by Rev. Audrey F. Bronson and Becky Carlton, Minister of Music. Each recording is a celebration of Rev. Bronson's powerful singing and sermonizing, Carlton's dynamic organ work, and of the jubilant gathering of handclapping, tambourines, and more. Liner notes include brief autobiographies and descriptions of church programs from Bronson and Carlton, and an introduction to the album by renowned producer Verna Gillis.
