Lifeline

Born in Montreal, Rick Fielding spent much of his early career touring through the bars and clubs of northern Ontario. In towns of all sorts, he collected experiences that helped inform his work. Lifeline presents these experiences, seamlessly interspersed alongside traditional folk songs, and skillfully performed by Fielding on an astounding nine instruments—guitar, 12-string, steel guitar, octave guitar, mandolin, mandola, banjo, lap dulcimer, and bass.
