South African Freedom Songs
Various Artists

In Africa, musicians compose and sing thousands of songs about contemporary topics. This collection represents a musical protest against apartheid. Pete Seeger, Guy Carawan, and Garrett Morris learned these from a tape recording made by leaders of the African National Congress in 1959 and perform them here in the original Zulu.
