Sings at the South Street Seaport

The X Seamens Institute
Sings at the South Street Seaport The all-male quartet X-Seamen's Institute was founded in New York City’s South Street Seaport in 1968 and is dedicated to continuing the centuries-old tradition of singing songs of the sea. On Tuesday evenings in the summer they performed chanties, joined by hundreds of members of the public in the chorus. This album is a collection of their most requested numbers.
