Original Works of Children in Concert

Eleven pre-teen and teen musicians, members of the Young Composers Forum, present solo performances of their compositions in this 1979 celebration of the International Year of the Child. The performances range from unadorned (“The Bee and the Butterfly”) to intricate (“Contemplation Suite”), with the young musicians playing piano, violin, guitar, and French horn. Photos of the performers and lyrics for their songs are included in the liner notes.
