Train Don't Leave Me

Various Artists
Train Don't Leave Me Originally developed to play secular music, the steel guitar became an essential instrument in the playing of gospel music in The House of God Pentecostal Churches. In 2000, the first annual sacred steel convention was held in Florida to showcase many of the important players in this music genre. Recorded live, this collection includes sacred music performances on lap and pedal steel guitars by renowned performers Calvin Cooke, the Campbell Brothers, Elder Aubrey Ghent, Elder Maurice “Ted” Beard, and others.
